ArchNews #2: Lifesteal Economy Update
Issue Summary
ArchMC made some pretty big changes to Lifesteal on August 28, but there wasn’t really any announcement about it. Badministrator and 98ping came on Lifesteal and started asking players what they wanted changed, and several economy and gameplay changes came out of it.

Lifesteal Economy Changes
Badministrator and 98ping came on Lifesteal and started asking players what they wanted changed.
From some of the suggestions, ores, minerals, and crops were made sellable. After crops were added to /sell, cactus selling was bugged for a bit, but Badministrator fixed it while he was online.
98ping also said he plans to add blocks back to the shop. This was something a lot of players wanted, since the old shop barely had anything useful to buy or sell.
- Ores, minerals, and crops are now sellable
- Cactus selling was bugged for a short time after the crop sell update, but it was fixed
- Blocks are planned to be added back to the shop
Quick Updates
Totem Cooldown
98ping said he would make the totem cooldown “opt in,” but it isn’t clear how that will work yet.
Stasis Chambers
There was also a debate about stasis chambers. Some players wanted stasis to be allowed, especially after people had been banned for using it, but 98ping ended up saying no.

Closing
These changes weren’t really announced anywhere outside of Lifesteal chat, so a lot of players probably missed them. More changes may still be coming, especially with blocks planned to return to the shop.
